Most spiritual practice is about letting go. Let go of perception, past issues, regret. What simple practices are there to infuse joy into your life? First - Nature: stick your nose 2 inches from a flower. Go for a walk and look up. Feed the birds or ducks. Stop your mind chatter that there’s something more important to do. Second: Give - you don’t need money to serve. Volunteer – give your time to something you believe in. Stop your mind chatter about what’s in it for you. Third: Believe – God IS there for you. Trust that God has your back. Let go of your fears – they are not real. Have faith your life is unfolding as it should. Take a moment now and then to FEEL bliss and joy entering your soul.
Pain comes from a perception that something is wrong. How can you let go of perception? First, practice not having an opinion. You can still care, you can till love, you can still give. Have no opinion of the outcome. Second, look at where you have held onto something painful from your past. Realize that no matter how painful it is, you can let go of it. Tired of trying to put a round peg in a square hole? Consider letting go of the perception something is wrong. Pain is coming from your opinion that something wrong happened. Pain is a choice. Realize that what you hold onto – you can let go of.
What is a soul mate lover? What is a soul mate friend? Can you tell the difference between the two? Why does a soul mate friend feel like a lover? Can someone have several or just one soul mate lover? Does everyone have a soul mate lover?
Tune in Saturday at 1pm for the discussion.
What if nothing is wrong? What makes us think there are mistakes? Can mistakes simply be a personal perception? Is it true that what’s more important is intention? If something goes astray, what are the possibilities for personal growth? Does it matter if someone said we did something wrong?
The root of anger comes from the personal perception something is wrong. A good start is to incorporate a belief that nothing is wrong. A more difficult step is to incorporate that God loves all his children equally. It is difficult to be God like and love everyone if we believe something is wrong. Both our past and current thoughts cause anger. Much anger comes from an earlier time in our lives when we formed judgments about life. Going within helps you find and release trauma so that there is one less issue to be angry about. Without judgment of the moment, anger cannot enter your being.
